Why do you love teaching at Melt?
So many reasons! I love spreading positive energy to every member that walks in the door. Everyone is coming from a different stage in their day or life journey, and my hope when they walk in the door is they are able to release whatever they need to release, whether that be stress, sweat, negativity or emotion. I want every person to leave feeling lighter mentally and physically.
How would you describe your class at Melt?
Ha! The best way to describe my class is “controlled insanity”. But in all seriousness, I would say my class is intense, full of energy, rhythmic and motivational.
How would you describe your vibe?
I bring a positive vibe and energy to every class. My vibe is also tough, but challenging the body leads to challenging yourself outside of the gym, and that leads to positive growth.
What are you passionate about?
Body image. Every BODY is different and it is so important that people know that is a beautiful thing. Everyone is on a different journey with themselves, maybe had an injury in the past or maybe just are getting back into shape, hell, they could be the most in shape person there, but it’s so important to know that your body moving in whatever way it can, is so healthy, not just for your body, but your mind and energy. Negative thoughts about your body lead to a negative mindset. I strive to make every person feel important and know their workout matters, every time, and just those little changes each day will help lead you to a positive mindset.
What is one thing no one knows about you?
I was a collegiate athlete!

Schwinn Cycle, a variety of Les Mils classes, and Insanity.
